A website + desktop app for people who want to learn, but lack motivation.
Popling is a web application paired with either a Firefox add-on or an Adobe Air application. Users subscribe to flash cards on the website and the add-on or desktop app displays a question from them every few minutes. Ignore the question and it goes away, click it to answer the question. Tools such as ‘retention’ mode and ‘easy’ and ‘hard’ lists help users in their quest to learn a new language, the 50 states or anything teachable through flash cards.
